Featuring 4K video up to 60fps, AI Tracking 2.0, 5x optical zoom, NDI, HDMI, 3G-SDI, Ethernet and USB connectivity, the Tail 2 offers an exceptionally flexible camera solution without the size and complexity of a traditional broadcast PTZ system.

The OBSBOT Tail 2 combines the portability of a compact camera with features normally associated with professional PTZ and live-production cameras.

Its 1/1.5-inch CMOS sensor, 5x optical zoom and 12x hybrid zoom make it suitable for everything from a presenter standing on a conference stage to interviews, demonstrations, meetings and live-streamed events. It records at up to 4K 60fps and can also capture high-frame-rate 1080p video.

Unlike a conventional PTZ camera, the Tail 2 also incorporates a roll axis, creating OBSBOT’s PTZR design. This allows the camera to automatically rotate the image between landscape and portrait orientation as well as pan and tilt.

One of the biggest advantages of the OBSBOT Tail 2 is its built-in AI tracking.

The camera can automatically identify and follow subjects, reducing the need for a dedicated camera operator in suitable applications. Tracking can be particularly useful for:

The OBSBOT Tail 2 can record internally to a MicroSD card as well as providing live video outputs.

It supports cards up to 1TB, with UHS Speed Grade 3 recommended by OBSBOT.

Suitable high-speed MicroSD cards are available with our hire cameras, giving you the option of recording directly in-camera as a primary recording or additional backup.

The RØDE Wireless PRO is a dual-channel wireless microphone system with two transmitters, 32-bit float onboard recording, timecode support and intelligent GainAssist. Each transmitter also contains 32GB of internal storage capable of more than 40 hours of onboard recording.

RØDE Lavalier II microphones are available as part of the Wireless PRO system for a more discreet professional setup.
