Hitachi Annual Employee Conference

AVE Services provided equipment for the Hitachi Annual employee conference for the third year running. The conference took place at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park, near Swindon, Wiltshire from the 15th October in a room over looking the lovely lake that surrounds the hotel.

The conference brings the employees from Newbury and Trowbridge offices together over a few days to give them an update about the company, work together on tasks, and hear about customer experiences. This years topic that was focused on was about the future of vehicles, and whether in 40 years time people would still have a car. There were lots of different examples of how apps and car companies are getting ready for the future, especially with new laws involving banning diesel vehicles from the roads by 2040.

Vehicles that the company leases are also brought to the conference so that different departments can learn about the other types of vehicles they stock. The day also offered the employees to ask questions to all members of the senior leadership team in person and meet people face to face.

The day is brought to a close with staff awards over the two offices, and a chance to put a few employees in the lime light and recognise staff who over the last year had gone beyond their job role. With everyone getting a plaque and a lovely bottle of champagne.
