When a client asked for a clean, professional backdrop for live-streamed presentations to all their main office locations, we designed and built a custom white set with matching lecterns—purpose-made to fit a tight room with height and depth limits.

The brief

Create a neutral, studio-style background and presenters’ lecterns for a virtual event, suitable for camera, tidy on cables, and comfortable for hosts using laptops and notes.

The challenge

The room’s restricted depth and ceiling height meant standard set panels wouldn’t fit properly or look right on camera. We needed a made-to-measure solution that maximised the available space while keeping a crisp, modern look.

Our solution

• Custom faux-leather set panels:
  Designed, fabricated, and installed to exact room dimensions for a smooth, continuous backdrop that reads beautifully on video.

• Bespoke white lecterns (pair):
  Each lectern includes a slanted top shelf for laptops/notes and a secondary internal shelf for water bottles and personal items.

• Site survey & design:
  We measured the space, produced drawings, and built to spec so everything fit neatly—even with the room constraints.

• Camera-friendly finish:
  Soft white with subtle texture to avoid glare and moiré on livestreams.

Result

A tidy, professional mini-studio that kept attention on the hosts and content, with practical lecterns and a made-for-video backdrop. Perfect for internal broadcasts, town halls, and hybrid events.
