On Thursday 9th November, AVE Services travelled to Birmingham to provide AV support for an exclusive evening at the McLaren and Rolls-Royce showroom.
The event, organised by McLaren, showcased the McLaren Roubaix collection, a collaboration with Specialized, one of the most innovative names in cycling.
Guests were greeted with a champagne reception before being welcomed by Mark Murphy from Specialized, who introduced the range and the groundbreaking new Specialized Roubaix.
About the Roubaix
A key feature of the Roubaix is its Future Shock suspension system, which enhances rider comfort and performance. Despite its high-performance build, the Roubaix weighs only 7kg, meaning that even when mounted to a McLaren 570S Spider, it barely affects the vehicle’s centre of gravity or handling — a perfect combination of automotive and cycling engineering.
The Event Experience
Guests enjoyed a stunning display of McLaren’s performance lineup, including the 720S, 570S Coupé & Spider, and 570GT, alongside Specialized bikes, accessories, and performance tools. Canapés and refreshments were served throughout the evening, making for a relaxed and premium experience.
