The Oxford Real Farming Conference kicked off on 3rd January with a welcoming session at St. Edmund’s Hall in Oxford city centre. The evening began with the cleverly named “Grate Cheese Debate” — a lively and delicious introduction to the conference.
Guests enjoyed a special cheese-tasting session hosted by four directors from:
-
Lye Cross Farm
-
Quicke’s Cheese
-
Cropwell Bishop
-
Bath Soft Cheese
Alongside sampling their cheeses, attendees learned about the unique production methods behind each variety, gaining insight into the processes that transform raw milk into award-winning artisan cheeses.
